Hotel des Artistes
New York City
This two-story loft integrates a former Google executive’s social and artistic life. Located off Central Park, our design for the space bathes the room in natural light by day and is candlelit by a twenty-foot-long fire garden at night.
The living room doubles as a performance space with the owner’s classic grand piano and a variety of other musical instruments.
The upstairs contains an extensive library and reading loft that overlooks the performance space, which transforms into an intimate viewing box during regular salon-performances.
The master bedroom incorporates sleep hygiene, including black-out shades and a HEPA – air filtration system, that also provides acoustical white noise – guaranteeing a perfect night’s sleep.
A spa-inspired bathroom features a deep steeping tub with a peaceful view of the cityscape beyond.
Wellbeing on Hotel Design & Residential has become our ‘signature design style’ where we integrate the following criteria:

The apartment recently received a green makeover by a horticulturist, Summer Rayne Oakes. How is it that nature enhances our well-being? Is it our harmonious natural balance with nature or an associative psychological benefit? We are not sure of the exact scientific evidence, but its impact on our human body is undeniable.
