40 Broad St – Wellness Tower

New York City

A haven of tranquility located in New York’s Financial District; 40 Broad St defines “wellness as a lifestyle.”

The original building’s 1980’s shell was repurposed to create a new luxurious residence. The grand entrance boasts four new 30-foot-tall bronze columns and dramatic pendant lanterns that fit into the monumental context of Wall Street.

The two-story lobby welcomes residents with its warm back-lit walnut lattice screens, which overlay gold and crimson silk panels.

The fine-dining – Reserve Cut (RC) is located on the 2nd floor – while the tenth floor has a dedicated 125-foot terrace containing a library – quiet lounge, a billiards room, meeting space, children’s playroom with dedicated outdoor area, and a fitness and yoga studio.

Our design of the space has earned accolades, a Zagat 4.5 rating for Decor, which has catapulted its must-see status.   The idea of creating a variety of intimate mini-dining parties within the 12,000sf space really paid off.   Guests enter a private vestibule of the private elevators into this other-worldly columnar grand hall, which delivers you to a curved backdrop enveloping the maître-d station. From there, you encounter a 30-foot-long walnut bar punctuated with custom pendant light fixtures, which echo the signature lighting throughout the space. A nearby banquet room seats 40 guests strategically located off the entry and bar. Lunch is served within a curated art-filled room, also book-ending the bar with easy access.

The rooftop of 40 Broad

St…

provides the ultimate urban amenity: a garden escape including a social-solarium and various exterior garden experiences, areas for sunbathing within cabanas, lounging areas, intimate conversation garden niches along with an outdoor screening room under the stars.
